Points of Note :

"Midnight Over Erith" is "Joocypeach's" first album of entirely original songs drawing inspiration from many sources such as Marvin Gaye and Motown through to Steely Dan and even Miles Davis, if its good we want to learn if its GREAT even better.... Yes, Dave and Meinrad are still learning from the best just as they did at Musician's Institute of Los Angeles where they met.

"Joocypeach" has an extensive repertoire and history of playing. When we first gigged together we were called "So What" inspired by the Miles Davis song. As the originating line up has changed we felt it correct to reflect this in a new band name,

Joocypeach.

"Midnight Over Erith" was recorded in 2000 and 2001 at the "Joocypeach " studio, at the bassplayers house. This also doubles as Dave's Music Room. Dave wanted to get the Motown ethos. Motown's "hit factory" was a converted residential home in

Detroit .
